Questions, answered.

How Promptly Employed works, what it costs, and what happens to your information. If your question isn't here, email us and we'll answer it.

For job seekers

Applying for roles

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Promptly Employed is free for job seekers — no fees, no subscription, and no paywall between you and a job. That applies to every role on the platform, and it isn't a launch promotion.

What is the match score, and who sees it?

When you apply, your résumé is read against that specific job description and any criteria the employer has set. You receive a score and a short explanation of how you aligned with the role.

The employer sees the same score alongside your application. The score is a screening aid — it does not decide anything on its own.

Will I hear back if I'm not selected?

Yes. You'll see your application move through stages — received, shortlisted, interview, outcome — and you'll be notified when a vacancy closes, including when the answer is no.

This is the part of hiring the platform was built to fix. Silence is not an outcome.

A low score — does that mean I'm out?

No. The score reflects how closely your résumé matched the wording of that job description, not your worth as a candidate. Employers review applications themselves and regularly interview people who did not score highest.

If your score is lower than you expected, it's often worth checking that your résumé actually spells out the experience the role asks for.

Can I withdraw an application or close my account?

Yes, at any time. Withdrawing removes the application, your résumé and its analysis from the employer's view within Promptly Employed. Closing your account does the same across every employer you applied to.

Copies an employer downloaded before you withdrew are outside our control — under our Terms they must handle your information lawfully and keep it confidential.

An employer submitted my résumé and I got an email. What is that?

Employers and recruitment agencies can submit a résumé they already hold for one of their vacancies. When that happens we create an account so the application can be tracked, and email you to say so.

You can sign in to see your score and status, or ask us to close the account. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

For employers

Posting and hiring

How does the screening actually work?

You post the vacancy in plain language and can upload supporting criteria — a rubric, a scorecard, a spreadsheet. Every application that arrives is read against that material and scored on role fit, with a short summary explaining the result.

The more detail you give it, the more precisely it can assess. A thin job description produces a broad assessment.

Does the AI reject anyone automatically?

No. Nothing is rejected, filtered out or hidden on the basis of a score. Every application remains visible to you, ranked with the strongest matches first.

Hiring decisions stay with people. The platform orders the pile and explains its reasoning; you decide who to interview and who to hire.

Can I upload résumés I already have?

Yes. You can submit résumés you hold against one of your vacancies and they'll be scored and ranked alongside applications that came in through the platform.

You must be entitled to submit that information and to have the candidate contacted about it — see section 5.1 of our Terms of Service.

Can my whole team use one account?

We can set up individual logins for each recruiter on your account, so everyone works in the same pipeline without sharing credentials. Useful if you're running roles across more than one territory.

What does it cost?

A job listing is TT$500 at launch pricing — one vacancy, live for 30 days, with up to 300 résumés screened and every applicant answered. Standard pricing is TT$1,000.

No card is required. We invoice you and you pay by bank transfer. Full detail is on our pricing page.

What happens if I get more applicants than my listing covers?

A listing closes when it reaches its résumé allowance or its end date, whichever comes first. We email you at 80% of your allowance and 5 days before your end date, each with a one-click option to add more.

Add-ons can be bought while the listing is live or within 7 days of it closing: +200 applicants and 15 days for TT$250, +500 applicants and 30 days for TT$500, or +15 days on its own for TT$100. Extra days run from your current end date, so you never lose time by extending early.

Can I lock in launch pricing?

Yes. Sign up before 31 December 2026 and you keep launch pricing for 12 months from the day you join — listings and add-ons alike. Standard pricing applies to employers who join from January 2027.

What do Featured Listing and the boosts actually do?

Featured Listing (TT$150) pins your vacancy to the top of our jobs board and highlights it for the full life of the listing, extensions included. Boosts promote the role on Facebook and Instagram for 5 days — TT$200 for Boost Lite, TT$400 for Boost.

They work best together: the boost brings people to the board, Featured makes sure your role is the first one they see. Bought as a pair, Spotlight Lite is TT$300 and Spotlight is TT$500.

Reach figures shown on our pricing page are estimates based on typical performance, not guarantees — actual reach depends on the role, the audience and conditions on the platform at the time.

How do candidates find my vacancy?

Your listing appears on the public jobs board and is promoted through our social channels. We're a new platform in this market, so we're honest about that: our reach is growing, and we'd rather tell you that than overstate it.

Platform and data

How we handle information

Which AI does Promptly Employed use?

Anthropic is our primary provider for résumé and application analysis, with OpenAI as a secondary failover when the primary service is unavailable. Both are named in our Privacy Policy.

Is my résumé sold, shared or added to a database?

No. We do not sell job-seeker information, and we do not give employers a searchable database of candidates to browse. An employer sees applications submitted to vacancies they are authorised to manage — nothing more.

Which countries do you cover?

The platform is built for the Caribbean and is not region-locked. Employers are currently posting roles across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region, and applicants can apply from anywhere.

Do I need to be 18 to use Promptly Employed?

Job seekers must be at least 16. Employer accounts must be created by someone authorised to act for the organisation.
